YouTuber Samcrac has bought a used Range Rover, for a princely sum of $1,400. Unsurprisingly the Range Rover doesn’t work, what do you expect for $1,400? But it’s a Land Rover so poor reliability is as much part of the company’s history as off-roading is. But most Land Rovers spend more time being repaired than on or off-road.

Anyway, that’s a debate for another time. The Rangie is in good condition inside and out, but Samcrac is on a mission to make the Range Rover great again. The electronics, head gasket are key suspects but Samcrac wants to fix it on the cheap.

Turns out there are multiple issues, turns out Samcrac doesn’t actually know what he is doing. But you have to admire his pioneering spirit. Having been a previous Land Rover owner, one common failure to be expected is air-suspension failure. An easy fix, but Buyer beware.
