And now for the Volvo V60 R Design. The Volvo V60 R-Design spec is the only Volvo you should desire. And that goes for every other model in the Volvo range. From the V40 up.
The Volvo V60 R-Design gets you enhanced styling. An aggressive body-style, high-gloss black finish for the mesh front grille, door mirror housings, window frames, integrated roof rails and twin tailpipe surrounds.
You pay a little more but dude and dudette, you’re worth it.
Personally, I prefer chrome trim on the window frames because it looks classy, but hey who are we to say. We’re just a tiny little blog.
Having tested previous
R-Design spec models, you will find that the ride quality and handling is also much better than the standard fare.
That’s because the Volvo V60 R Design chassis undergoes a transformation. The suspension is tuned with stiffer spring rates, thicker anti-roll bars, a 12mm lower ride height, and faster-responding
monotube dampers.
The Volvo V60 R-Design is available in D3 and D4 diesels with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, and the T5 petrol automatic.
Standard equipment is generous, the highlights are a nine-inch touchscreen, automatic headlights with active high beam, 12.3-inch driver’s information display and a powered tailgate.
If that isn’t enough for you then you can upgrade to the R-Design Pro which adds 19-inch alloys over the standard 18-alloys.
R-Design Pro also adds a bunch of other equipment, but hey we’re not sales people and neither are we a Volvo dealership.
Do a bit of research people! but we do get to say you heard it here first. The Volvo V60 R-Design is priced from £35k.
