Gaming Geek Drives V10 F1 Ferrari Using VR Headset And It Looks Awfully Good
His name is Jimmy Broadbent, gaming geek, a loner who locks himself away in a dark room where he innocently plays Assetto Corsa, best played on a PC because it’s a proper race sim. Jimbo has spent a lot of cash on his expensive sim-setup, expensive force feedback steering, racing bucket seat and sequential gearbox… nerd. Anyway, we get to see what it is like to drive an F1 car from the drivers perspective, albeit in a virtual-digital-reality-POV. VR technology has developed to another level over the past 3 years, and this is as about as close as you can get to driving an F1 car, but at a fraction of the cost. You’ll need to get the Assetto Corsa Ferrari Pack if you want to live the dream.  Asseto-Corsa-Jimmy-Broadbent-Dailycarblog
