So yes the updates include a refreshed bumper designs, a slightly wider grille and new set of lights. You even get a rear diffuser but its purely for show.
That said underneath the metal the A3 does get the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine which is good for 113bhp.
Also included is the new 2.0-litre petrol engine and of course the diesel range of engines is retained.
The S3 performance version has been given a 10PS boost to 310PS with a 20Nm torque increase to 400Nm with the S tronic transmission.
The interior is pretty much unchanged but as ever is a deliciously designed environment which now includes the Virtual Cockpit which is basically a digital binnacle interface with fancy graphics and graphical transitions.
Enhanced standard specification now includes cruise control, light and rain sensors and three-spoke multi-function steering wheel
Oh and you now also get Matrix LED headlights, Traffic jam Assist and Apple CarPlay aor Android Auto as optional extras.
Oh and you also get a new choice of exterior colours and alloy wheel designs.
As we always say we’re not a marketing division of Audi nor their dealer network and if you want a barley noticeable updated A3 then head on down to your nearest Audi dealership god dam you.
